Rabat – American actress Lucy Hale is enjoying Morocco’s summer vibes during a colorful trip to the city of Marrakech.
Hale, who is known for her role in the famous television series Pretty Little Liars, shared a series of photos of Marrakech and herself.
In her Instagram stories, she also shared pictures of herself in the souk (local market) and photos of colorful spices. The American actress also enjoyed a visit to the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakech.
Hale is not the first celebrity to share their excitement about a visit to Morocco, particularly Marrakech.
In May, American comedian and television host Ellen DeGeneres was spotted enjoying her vacation in Marrakech with her wife Portia de Rossi.
Algeria’s international football star Riyad Mahrez also shared a series of pictures in the city of Marrakech to spend his summer holiday.
Mahrez’s wife, the English model Taylor Ward, also took photos and shared them with her followers to celebrate her trip.
In April, the head coach of Spain’s football giant Atletico Madrid, Diego Simeone, also visited the city with his family.
Atletico Madrid’s French-speaking Twitter page shared a photo of Simeone and his wife Carla Peryera, a model and TV show host.
“Diego Simeone is enjoying his trip to the most beautiful country in Africa, Morocco,” Atleti Francia said.
Marrakech is one of the most popular destinations for both local and international tourists. With a remarkable recovery in the tourism sector, Morocco began receiving thousands of tourists who planned trips to enjoy the country’s warm weather.
In May, Morocco’s Minister of Tourism Fatima Zahra Ammor said that revenues from tourism reached MAD 9.7 billion, nearly $1 billion, at the end of March.
The number represented an increase of 80% compared to the same period last year.
