Rabat – A Moroccan orchestra performed at the National Mohammed V Theater in Rabat on January 17 to mark the occasion and celebrate Morocco’s Independence Proclamation.
The celebration commemorated the manifesto that contained signatures from thousands of Moroccans as they petitioned to have colonizers leave Moroccan soil. The official celebration for this day is on January 11 and has been remembered annually since 1994.
