Traveling 10 hours south of Rabat you are taken to a different world than that of a city. For visitors, the experience of Merzouga is unique. There are many things to see that are unavailable in other parts of the country.
Into the heart of the country, 600 kilometers away from Rabat, you are taken to a whole new world. Visitors could easily get lost looking at the texture of the sand. Some people even bring snowboards and will slide down the dunes.

Gnawa music is a local music that is used in mystical practice to bring people closer to God or to heal any ailments they might have. This music has existed in Morocco since the 12th century when the Gnawa people first arrived in the North African country.
Palm trees sprouting out of the Earth are rare to find in the desert and are usually an indication that there is a water source in the area.
