Rabat – Air Arabia announced the launch of a new route between Morocco’s Nador and the German city of Frankfurt.
The expansion comes as part of the airline’s strategy to meet the demands of travelers between Morocco and Europe, a press release from the budget air travel company said.
The flights will be operated on Thursdays and Saturdays of every week.
Passengers are already able to book their tickets and use Air Arabia’s online check-in services, as well as the airline’s loyalty program “AirRewards,” added the press release.
“The airline looks forward to welcoming passengers onboard its trips between Nador and Frankfurt, stressing its intention to provide travelers a comfortable travel experience at reasonable prices,” it concluded.
The announcement comes as air travel numbers from and to Morocco have recorded consistent increases following the relaxing of travel restrictions imposed by COVID-19.
Morocco’s airport authority ONDA released data detailing a significant increase in tourist departures and arrivals in Morocco’s airports.
The new flights to Nador, as well as other Moroccan cities, are set to boost the number of tourists arriving into the country, which has been receiving a travel boost in recent months.
