Rabat – Lodging operator Ascott Limited has unveiled plans to introduce two new brands in Morocco – Ascott Hivernage Marrakech and The Unlimited Collection Hotel Marrakech.

These properties are expected to open by the end of 2026, indicated the company in a press release. It added that the expansion is set to contribute to Ascott’s ambitious North Africa pipeline, which includes properties in Casablanca set to open in the beginning of 2025.

The Marrakech locations will consist of 190 fully-furnished units, complementing Ascott’s goal of adding 5,500 units in the region by 2025.

Managing Director at The Ascott Limited Vincent Miccolis expressed excitement about the expansion into North Africa and highlighted the region’s dynamic hospitality sector.

The expansion “represents a strategic milestone in our commitment to providing world-class serviced residences and hotels across key destinations in the region,” Miccolis said.

“We look forward to contributing to the flourishing regional hospitality sector and creating exceptional experiences for our guests,” he added.

Ascott Hivernage Marrakech promises to offer 100 elegantly designed units, including studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. The property will feature a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, meeting rooms, and a contemporary restaurant, with views of the city and the Atlas Mountains.

Located in Marrakech’s Hivernage district, the property will provide convenient access to the Palais des Congres conference center. The statement said that this makes it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers.

In addition, it offers proximity to the business district and popular attractions like Jamaa el Fna Square and the old Medina.

Meanwhile, the Unlimited Collection Hotel Marrakech is located in the Gueliz neighborhood.

Boasting 90 rooms and suites, the hotel aims to provide an authentic “Red City” experience, allowing guests to explore the city’s cultural offerings, fashion boutiques, art galleries, and local energy, added the statement.

The red city of Marrakech is renowned for its vibrant culture, historical significance, and status as a popular tourist destination.

In addition, it has become an attractive hub for both leisure and business travelers, resulting in a growing demand for quality accommodation.
