Marrakech – Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expanding their creative horizons with two exciting ventures for Netflix.
The upcoming shows promise to serve up two shows on cooking and gardening, and a U.S. polo championship, the streaming service announced.
Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, will take the reins of the first series, a celebration of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship, Netflix highlighted.
Directed by Michael Steed, the show will boast executive producers Chanel Pysnik with Archewell Productions as well as Meghan herself.
Leah Hariton will serve as showrunner, with The Intellectual Property Corporation on board.
The second series will promise viewers an exclusive peek into the elite world of professional polo, shot at the prestigious US Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida.
Beyond the sport’s glamorous surface, the show will delve into the dedication and challenges of competing at the pinnacle of polo.
Boardwalk Pictures will spearhead the production, with executive producers including Prince Harry and Meghan, , and Chanel Pysnik for Archewell Productions, as well as a talented team from Boardwalk Pictures including Andrew Fried, Sarina Roma, and Dane Lillegard, along with Miloš Balać and Ian Samplin.
Netflix stated that both series are currently in the early stages of production, with titles and release dates set to be unveiled in the forthcoming months.
The royal duo has already made their mark on Netflix with the 2022 documentary “Harry and Meghan.”
In this intimate portrayal, the couple engages with the host, offering insights into their relationship journey, from courtship to engagement.
