Engineering excellence: the birth of MC20

The event began with an immersive presentation by Harrach, who introduced the MC20 amidst echoes of its international debut in Modena, Italy.

The name MC20, “MC” pays homage to Maserati Corse and “20” signifies its launch year. Harrach elucidated that the new car model epitomizes a blend of performance, sportiness, and luxury.

Drawing inspiration from Maserati’s racing heritage, the MC20 boasts exceptional aerodynamic efficiency and houses the groundbreaking Nettuno engine with F1 technology—a twin-turbo V6 marvel producing 630 horsepower and 730 Nm of torque.

“The MC20 represents a new era for Maserati, combining Italian craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology,” Harrach emphasized.

Design and latest technology

The MC20 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under 2.9 seconds, attaining a top speed exceeding 325 km/h—a testament to its prowess as a true supercar.

Attendees were treated to a glimpse of the MC20’s assembly process through an informative video, reflecting Maserati’s meticulous craftsmanship.

During the presentation, Harrach detailed the MC20’s innovative features, including its driver-centric cockpit with twin 10-inch screens, intuitive Maserati Touch Control Plus (MTC Plus MIA), and a carbon fiber central console.

The car’s design, shaped over 2,000 hours in the Dallara wind tunnel, emphasizes aerodynamic efficiency without compromising its elegant profile—a hallmark of Maserati’s design philosophy.

“The MC20 isn’t just a supercar; it’s a versatile companion for both everyday driving and spirited track experiences,” Harrach declared. He added that its dynamic modes—GT, Sport, Corsa, and Wet—offer drivers unparalleled flexibility, enhancing performance and handling across diverse driving conditions.
