This is a celebration of a 15-year legacy commitment to innovation in event planning.
Fez – MAEV, a trailblazer in bespoke event planning both in Marrakech and internationally, has launched a new creative studio, marking a significant milestone as the agency prepares to celebrate 15 years of excellence in April.
The newly inaugurated MAEV Atelier is more than just an office space — it combines the agency’s headquarters, production workshops, storage, and fabrication areas into one dynamic location.
Designed to spark innovation, this studio embodies MAEV’s philosophy of blending creativity with execution to deliver unique, tailored experiences.
“This atelier is more than a workspace; it’s a place where ideas come to life with passion and dedication,” statedSafae El Hakym, MAEV’s founder and CEO, in a press release.
Since its establishment in 2009, MAEV has become a leading name in organizing luxury weddings and private events worldwide.
From Marrakech to Ibiza, Casablanca to New York, the agency has crafted hundreds of weddings for an international clientele seeking unique, personalized celebrations.
MAEV is also recognized for its pioneering role in introducing “bohemian chic” aesthetics and setting the stage for music festivals in Morocco and abroad, including iconic events in Ibiza, Tulum, and Burning Man.
Beyond weddings and festivals, the agency has expanded into corporate events, hosting seminars, product launches, and gala evenings for prestigious clients such as PWC , BCG, JTI , and Sanofi.
Family-oriented and socially responsible, MAEV maintained its entire workforce through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic by launching “La Karavane,” a sustainable travel concept promoting small-group tours across Morocco with a focus on responsible tourism.
More recently, the agency demonstrated its commitment to social causes following the earthquake that struck Morocco in September 2023. Leveraging its logistical expertise, MAEV coordinated relief efforts, delivering aid to affected villages with the help of over 500 volunteers.
The initiative raised nearly 752,000 dirhams for the ADE (Amis des Écoles) association.
Safae El Hakym: The visionary behind MAEV
At the helm of MAEV is Safae El Hakym, a French-Moroccan entrepreneur with a background in management and marketing.
Inspired by Morocco’s rich culture and global standards, she founded MAEV in 2009.
Under her leadership, the agency has redefined event planning with bold styles and innovative concepts, organizing large-scale projects like the OASIS, MOGA, and Caprice festivals.
“Our vision is to showcase Morocco’s art of living while reimagining event trends. The new atelier is a studio of ideas where every project tells a unique story, blending creativity with originality,” El Hakym stated.
“It’s also a step towards a sustainable and responsible future.”
The launch of the creative atelier signals a new chapter for MAEV.
This space reflects the agency’s ambition to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation in event planning.
By continuing to deliver exceptional, tailor-made experiences, MAEV invites its partners, clients, and the media to explore the atelier and witness its commitment to creating unforgettable events.
