Marrakech – Starting February 1, football fans and history enthusiasts alike can explore Morocco’s rich footballing legacy as the Musée du Football Marocain (MFM) opens its doors to the public every weekend.
Located at the heart of the Maâmora training complex in Sale, the museum offers an immersive journey through the Kingdom’s football history, blending nostalgia, pride, and passion.
Inaugurated in March 2024 under the auspices of King Mohammed VI, the museum is a collaboration between the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and the National Foundation of Museums (FNM).
Visitors will also have the chance to relive Morocco’s FIFA World Cup milestones through a special temporary exhibition, capturing the nation’s journey on football’s biggest stage — from its first appearance in 1970 to its recent groundbreaking performances in the global tournament.
With doors open every Saturday and Sunday from 10 pm to 6 pm, the MFM promises to be a must-visit destination for sports lovers and history buffs alike.
