Daum’s Constellation is more than an object; it’s an interstellar invitation to rethink what luxury means.

Marrakech – Dubai Mall, the epitome of luxury shopping, now home to the legendary French crystal house, Daum.

But this isn’t just another high-end boutique opening — this is a celestial event.

To mark the occasion, Daum has unveiled Constellation, a breathtaking incense burner designed by two powerhouses of African design, Hicham Lahlou from Morocco and Cheick Diallo from Mali.

Inspired by Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky, Constellation is more than just an object — it’s an experience.

Think of it as the Rolls-Royce of incense burners: crafted in luminous crystal, available in two limited-edition colorways (blue-green and amber), and infused with cultural symbolism.

The colors mirror the landscapes of Africa, from lush greenery to golden sands and deep night skies.

And then there’s the intricate brass detailing — echoing the elegant Mérinide geometry of Morocco and the Dogon architectural motifs of Mali.

Why does this matter? Because Daum, a brand with over 140 years of history, has always been about artistic innovation.

This collaboration is a love letter to African and Middle Eastern craftsmanship, proving that luxury isn’t just about price tags — it’s about heritage, storytelling, and soul.

And let’s talk about the launch night — because it was anything but ordinary.

Guests, including the Chalhoub family and Daum’s top brass, witnessed a live design performance by Lahlou and Diallo, dressed in traditional attire.

It was a moment where history met the future, where tradition danced with modernity, and where Dubai Mall became the galaxy’s most exclusive star cluster.
