Since its inception in 1996, Caftan Week has been a prestigious platform for Moroccan fashion, celebrating the country’s rich sartorial heritage while nurturing emerging talent.

Marrakech – Marrakech is set to host the 25th edition of Caftan Week, Morocco’s premier fashion event dedicated to the art of caftan design.

Organized by Femmes du Maroc, this year’s edition, running from May 8 to 11, is set to embrace the theme “Sahara, Heritage in Couture.” Drawing inspiration from the Moroccan Sahara, the event will showcase designs that echo the desert’s golden dunes, intricate rock carvings, and ever-shifting landscapes.

A total of 14 designers have been selected through a rigorous process, bringing their unique visions to this milestone edition.

Among them are Amina Boussayri, Houda Larini, Hind Lamtiri, Selma Senaoui, Amal Belcaid, Imane Tadlaoui, Siham El Habti, Hind Iraqi, Zaynab Fatihi Aderrab, and Sara Hilali.

The highlight of Caftan Week remains the grand Caftan 2025 fashion show, where designers will present collections that blend ancestral craftsmanship with contemporary influences.

Beyond the runway, the event will unfold across multiple venues in Marrakech, featuring exclusive exhibitions, masterclasses, and discussions with artisans — offering an immersive experience into the history and evolution of caftan design.

With each edition, Caftan Week cements its status as a global showcase of Moroccan elegance, ensuring the timeless caftan continues to evolve with modern creativity.
