I couldn’t help but wonder— if my Moroccan passport were a fashion accessory, would it be a designer It-bag or more of a practical, well-loved tote?

Marrakech – For Moroccan travelers, the world is a mix of wide-open doors, “almost there” entries, and some firm “not without a visa” signs.

But with 48 visa-free destinations, 28 offering visas upon arrival, and 31 allowing eVisas, that little green booklet holds more power than you think.

Let’s start with the VIP section — countries where you can breeze through passport control like you own the place.

Morocco’s passport lets you explore Brazil’s beaches, Turkiye’s bazaars, Malaysia’s street food scene, and even South Korea’s neon-lit nights — all visa-free.

Over in Africa, Algeria, Tunisia, and Senegal keep it easy, making regional travel a no-brainer.

And for a little Caribbean charm? Barbados, Grenada, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines welcome you with open arms (and maybe a tropical cocktail).

Some countries like Jordan, Indonesia, and the Maldives prefer a little airport paperwork before rolling out the welcome mat.

Think of it as a last-minute guest list check — annoying, but still better than a full-blown visa process.

If you’re a planner (or just good with online forms), countries like India, Pakistan, South Africa, and Vietnam offer eVisas.

It’s like RSVPing for a party — you still need an invite, but at least you don’t have to go through a painful process at the embassy.

Of course, some places play hard to get. The US, UK, and most of Europe still require a visa for Moroccan travelers.

So, if you’re dreaming of Parisian cafes or New York skylines, be prepared for embassy appointments, paperwork marathons, and a test of patience.

Is the Moroccan passport a golden ticket to anywhere? Not quite. But it does unlock more of the world than you might think.

And with a little strategic planning (and maybe a few visa applications), the world is still very much your runway.

Now, where are we flying next?
