They say Monday is the start of the week, the day we hit the ground running and set our intentions.

Marrakech – Let’s be honest — by Wednesday, the enthusiasm is fading, and by Thursday night, we’re running on sheer willpower and whatever snacks we can scavenge from the depths of our bags. And then, there’s Friday.

Friday: the gateway to the weekend, the soft landing after a week of emails, errands, and existential dread.

But what if, instead of treating Friday as the exhausted victory lap before we collapse into the weekend, we used it as our reset button?

A chance to tie up loose ends, clear the mental clutter, and step into Saturday feeling like a functioning human rather than a worn-out shell of one.

Think about it. Fridays could be the day we check in with ourselves.

What worked this week? What didn’t? Which to-do list item has been glaring at you with silent judgment since Monday?

Instead of dragging unfinished business into the weekend, we could handle it now, so Saturday is actually a break — not just a buffer for the things we didn’t get done.

Resetting on a Friday doesn’t have to be dramatic.

Maybe it’s cleaning out your inbox, maybe it’s a little self-care ritual — like finally doing that hair mask instead of letting it gather dust on your shelf like a forgotten relic of good intentions.

It could be making a list of things to celebrate from the week (yes, even the tiny victories count — like choosing salad instead of fries that one time).

And let’s not forget: a Friday reset also means setting the tone for the weekend.

Do you want a weekend of rest? Adventure? Socializing? Friday is your chance to decide.

It’s the difference between a weekend that recharges you and one that leaves you needing another weekend to recover.

So maybe we rethink Fridays. Not just as the finish line, but as a refresh.

A moment to breathe, reflect, and enter the weekend like someone who’s got it together — even if, let’s be real, none of us totally do.

But that’s okay. That’s what next Friday is for.
