If you’re an artist in Morocco, consider this your sign to stop procrastinating and start applying.

Marrakech – The Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication has just extended the deadline for its 2025 cultural and artistic project grants — giving creatives until March 25 to submit their proposals.

Why the extension? Simple. A wave of artists and cultural project leaders asked for more time, and the ministry listened.

The goal? To widen access and ensure more creatives can benefit from the funding pot.

But don’t expect to drop off a thick dossier in person.

Applications are only accepted online via the dedicated platform daam.minculture.gov.ma — a move that’s all about streamlining bureaucracy and making things easier for applicants.

Who can apply?

If your work falls into the realms of theater, music, or visual arts, this is your moment. Here’s what’s up for grabs:

Theater: Funding for productions, troupe installations, artist residencies, workshops, festival participation, street performances, and national tours.

Music: Support for music production, festival appearances (especially international ones), artist residencies, and performing arts.

Visual Arts: Grants for artist residencies, exhibitions, specialized salons, and participation in national and international art events.

Meaning? Whether you’re staging a play, composing a hit song, or curating an exhibition, there’s financial backing available — you just need to apply.

So, Moroccan creatives, the clock is ticking. March 25 is closer than you think.

Get those proposals in, and who knows? Your next big project might just get the funding it deserves.
