Marrakech – “You’ve had your moment,” they whisper, as if aging were some sort of social expiration date.

But then Salma Hayek walks in — no, struts in — in a swimsuit at nearly 60, and suddenly, the rules don’t just bend… they break.

Yes, Salma isn’t just vacation-posting from a luxury yacht anymore. She’s officially a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover star — one of the #SISwim25 for 2024.

And while many of us are still trying to figure out what SPF to wear, she’s reminding the world that life — and sex appeal — don’t peak at 30.

“I could retire but I don’t want to miss out on this time,” she told Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.

“I fought for it, and I’ve been part of it. …I don’t see why after a certain age we have to retract ourselves.”

And she’s right. Why do we? Somewhere along the way, we were taught to shrink — to cover up, speak softly, fade politely.

But Salma is here, shimmering in the sun, reminding us all that age doesn’t diminish worth — it multiplies it.

There’s something wildly powerful about a woman who chooses visibility, who doesn’t apologize for staying in the spotlight — or better yet, reclaiming it.

And as the May 17 issue hits newsstands, so does a message loud and clear: glam doesn’t come with an age limit, darling.

So whether you’re in your 20s, 50s, or somewhere deliciously in between, consider this your permission slip — or rather, your invitation — to stop retreating and start radiating.

If Salma’s doing it, why not the rest of us?
