Rabat – Seeking to elevate the music listening experience, Apple Music has released AutoMix, a feature designed to act “just like a DJ”.

Hailed as one of the standout features for new iOS 26 updates, AutoMix is praised for its ability to automatically blend songs using AI to create smooth, DJ-like transitions. 

Also anticipated are the full-screen album art interfaces to show off the ever-evolving beauty of the album cover with animation capabilities. 

Most useful of the changes might just be the ability to organize your favourite music. Features like pinning albums to the top of the library and folder creation now available on iPhones will make finding your go to playlist for every scenario that much easier.

Apple’s iOS 26 has a bevy of changes in stall to improve the user experience of Apple Music. The beta process is currently underway and all-going-well, the new software will be released to the public in mid-September. 

Announced at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference back in June, some of the key features announced at include song blending, animated full-screen cover art, pinned music, new widgets and technology that helps with lyric translation and pronunciation. 

The changes are highly anticipated by users of the app with the majority of the preliminary online feedback positively excited. 

One user praised the ability to pin music, claiming, “the pins are going to be awesome” while another favoured the translation features convenience because “I listen to a lot of non-English language music and often have no clue what’s being said, This’ll for sure be helpful.”

So get ready to cede the AUX cord to your Apple Music friends – they’re getting an update.
