Rabat – Yesterday, the Casa Anfa stage witnessed the beauty of two musical worlds coming together and bringing the audience to life.

TIF, the rising Algerian-French rapper, and Alfa Mist, the British multidisciplinary musician, blended jazz, hip-hop, and rap into a shared musical atmosphere.

Alfa Mist, a British pianist known for fusing jazz and hip-hop, opened the night with a performance that smoothly combined instrumental compositions and rap segments, creating a calm and introspective mood.

The precision of the execution and the richness of his sound held the crowd’s attention from start to finish.

His performance was followed by a different yet complementary set. There was no disruption in the evening’s flow as TIF took the stage and performed well-known tracks like Hinata and Amnesia

His unique blend of urban poetry and emotionally charged delivery resonated deeply with the audience.

This two-act evening reflected Jazzablanca’s dedication to celebrating the richness of today’s music scene by uniting artists with distinct musical journeys on one stage.

The festival’s commitment to uplifting rising Moroccan artists was more than evident in this 18th edition.

As its “Nouveau Souffle” initiative, featured free-entry concerts with artists like Daraa Tribes, Mehdi Qamoum, the Anas Chlih Quintet, and Soukaina Fahsi in order to draw a diverse audience to gather, dance, and discover vibrant Sahraoui and Moroccan rhythms.

Jazzablanca continues to prove that two musical worlds,  jazz and rap, introspection and rhythm, can not only share the same stage, but also create a unified experience.

It was a night that reminded us how music, no matter the genre, speaks a universal language when artists dare to connect across borders and styles.
