From July 3 to 12, the cobbled streets of Burgos, Spain pulsed with rhythm, sweat, and the dreams of young dancers from across the globe. But one group didn’t just show up — they showed out.
Representing Morocco with poise, power, and pure fire, the 33 young dancers of Temps’Danse lit up the Junior Large Group Showstopper category with a score of 87% and a message that couldn’t be ignored.
Their performance wasn’t just about choreography. It was a visual statement — fusing street dance, contemporary, ragga, and hip hop into a bold, breathing portrait of the Moroccan woman in transformation.
Each step was a sentence, each formation a declaration. These girls — aged just 8 to 16 – spoke with their bodies, their energy, and their sheer presence.
Behind the glitter and grace was intention. Supported by Dance World Cup Maroc, this wasn’t just a competition — it was a cultural handshake.
Temps’Danse brought a piece of modern Morocco to Spain: proud, free, fierce.
It was art as connection, dance as dialogue. And if the crowd’s reaction was anything to go by, the message was loud and clear.
This journey wasn’t about trophies. It was about belief — the kind that starts in dance studios and ripples out into families, communities, and entire countries.
Temps’Danse, with its fearless founder Myriam Bouayad, is building more than dancers. It’s building bridges. It’s raising voices. It’s shaping a generation that knows how to take up space — and own it.
