“Somewhere Cafe”
Somewhere cafe, a joint Saudi-Emirati brand known for its eclectic ambiance and nostalgic flavors, now greets patrons at Harrods.
The London outlet offers signature dishes like beef shawarma rice and kunafa croissant, paired with a cozy, dimly lit interior.
“Somewhere celebrates the unique from everywhere,” said co-founder Amal AlMarri. “We invite you to experience a piece of our journey.”
“Hijazi Corner”
Led by Chef Ayman Al-Zubaidi — former chef to Saudi royalty — Hijazi Corner draws its inspiration from Jeddah’s Al-Balad district. From chicken saleeg to lamb haneeth, the menu reflects home-cooked Hijazi flavors.
“No matter how closely I follow my mother’s recipes, hers always taste better,” said Al-Zubaidi.
“Qahwah London”
Located in the heart of the city, Qahwah (which translates to cafe in English) London is a hub for Arabic coffee lovers. It offers everything from spiced black coffee to desserts like basbousa and kunafa.
The cafe also hosts private gatherings, featuring gold-plated décor and traditional sweets.
“Diwan Kitchen”
Diwan Kitchen seeks to recreate Saudi Arabia’s communal dining culture. “There’s a rhythm to Saudi life… We bottled that feeling and served it on a plate,” co-founder Adem Nasraddin told Arab News.
Diners can expect regionally diverse offerings — from Najdi jareesh to Hijazi foul medammas — all served for sharing.
“Half Million”
On Oxford Street, Half Million cafe offers halal bites and bold coffee in a minimalist, stylish setting.
The London branch mirrors its Riyadh counterpart, delivering a premium coffee experience that resonates with younger Saudi travelers.
