The post, captioned “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” features images of Kelce down on one knee surrounded by flowers and Swift showing off an Old Mine Brilliant Cut diamond set in an 18-Karat gold ring, custom-designed by jewelry designer Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry.

“The whole look feels really antique, which I think suits Taylor perfectly,” said George Khalife, professionally known as George the Jeweler. “It looks close to 20 carats or more and would be valued between 3.5 to 5 million dollars (approximately MAD 31.6 million to MAD 45.2 million).”

The intimate proposal happened in the lush garden of Kelce’s home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, according to his father Ed Kelce. He revealed that it occurred nearly two weeks before the announcement during a simple moment; before going out for dinner, Travis asked Taylor to marry him.

“They started FaceTiming me and their mother and her folks to make sure everybody knew. So, to see them together is great,” Ed added.

Fans and friends have been quick to celebrate the news. Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, posted heartfelt congratulations online, describing the couple as “two of the most genuine people.”
