Marrakech – Gwyneth Paltrow, the founder of the lifestyle brand Goop, has officially unveiled her new fashion label, GWYN, during New York Fashion Week.

The launch, however, was far from conventional. Rather than appearing on the official fashion week schedule, GWYN debuted in a private presentation attended by a select group of industry insiders and influencers. Highlights from the show were later shared through the label’s Instagram account.

The brand represents a natural evolution of Paltrow’s previous clothing line, G. Label, which began as a modest capsule collection before gradually expanding into its own identity over the past nine years.

For this rebrand, Paltrow has teamed up with designer Sofia Minasi, who brings experience from esteemed houses including The Row and Maison Margiela.

Minasi, who previously served as the creative director of G. Label now leads the creative vision for GWYN.

The debut collection features 36 autumn-ready pieces, ranging from cashmere jackets and tailored trousers, to dresses, denim shirts, and wool jumpers.

Half of the collection is scheduled for release on 21 September, Goop subscribers are granted early access beginning 19 September.

Every piece is made in Italy, with inspiration drawn from travel, nature, art, and everyday living.

While Paltrow has firmly established herself as a lifestyle entrepreneur, many still remember her early Hollywood career.

She won an Academy Award for her performance in “Shakespeare in Love” (1998) and has starred in acclaimed films including “The Talented Mr. Ripley” (1999), “Proof” (2005), and Marvel’s “Iron Man” series.
