Rabat – On Thursday, member of American Rock band KISS was pronounced dead from the Hospital of Morristown in New Jersey, near his home. According to multiple sources, the cause of death was due to internal bleeding in the brain following his fall at his studio at the end of September. Other sources also stated that following his injury, doctors conducted brain scans that showed that there was internal bleeding in the brain; doctors had put him under surveillance and on life support.
Ace Frehley was known as an essential rock soldier within the rock community. He is the second member of the rock band to pass away after the late band’s drummer Eric Carr. The remaining surviving members of KISS have expressed their sorrow over the loss of their bandmate.
Bruce Kullic, another guitarist of the band, posted through his Instagram: “It deeply affected me as well. He was one of a kind and truly an iconic guitar player. His undeniable role in the creation and success of KISS cannot be forgotten.”.
Other members of the band Genne Simmons and Paul Stanley issued a joint statement through the Hollywood Reporter where they commented on the tragic loss of their former band camarade and looked back at his journey with KISS. Simmons and Stanley also forwarded their condolences to his family and their fans all over the world.
With over 100 million albums sold worldwide, signature theatrics, iconic makeup, and their extremely popular merchandise empire, KISS’ influence on rock music is felt even today.
