Fez – Malika El-Maslouhi, the Moroccan-Italian model rising on global runways, appears this week in a festive campaign for French beauty house Guerlain, showcasing a limited-edition Rouge G lipstick from the brand’s “Tale of Wonders” Holiday Collection.
A photo on Guerlain’s Instagram shows El-Maslouhi wearing shade G 877 and holding the matching limited-edition Rouge G Stellar case. In another image, she poses beside a gift box in celestial-inspired jewelry, including star-shaped drop earrings and rings with radiating motifs that echo the collection’s winter theme.
Born in Milan to a Moroccan father and an Italian mother, El-Maslouhi began modeling at 18. She has since walked for major fashion houses such as Dior, Chanel, Valentino, and Jacquemus across New York, London, Milan, and Paris fashion weeks. Her runway list also includes Ulla Johnson, Prabal Gurung, David Koma, Boss, Missoni, and Messika.
Beyond the catwalk, she has appeared in campaigns for Calvin Klein, Off-White, and Lanvin, expanding her profile across both luxury and contemporary fashion. Earlier this year, she featured in Palestinian artist Saint Levant’s music video “Exile,” directed by Algerian-French filmmaker Lyna Zerrouki, a visual piece centered on themes of longing and hope.
El-Maslouhi’s commercial calendar has been active. In August, she fronted Anthropologie’s 2026 resort-wear campaign after earlier summer collaborations with the retailer. The looks ranged from jewel-toned maxi dresses and sleek knit pieces to satin evening silhouettes, alongside poolside and beachside images in ready-to-wear, swim, and accessories. Standout items included a lobster-embroidered cardigan, tropical one-pieces, floral maxi skirts, and tie-up shirts in lightweight fabrics.
Her growing list of credits reflects steady momentum since 2022, when she was recognized with Italy’s Model of the Year title. The Guerlain holiday appearance adds a high-profile beauty partner to that trajectory and leans into an aesthetic built for gifting: statement red lips, mirrored cases, and star-touched styling.
For Guerlain, tapping a runway favorite with ties to Europe and North Africa refelcts the brand’s global reach as holiday sets arrive in stores and online. For El-Maslouhi, the images close the year on a bright note and signal more marquee placements to come.
