Rabat – After being away from the spotlight for nearly a year, Houda Saad surprises her fans with a new single titled “Foutouna,” released on Friday.

The song, written by Mohamed Amir and arranged by Mourad Elmadani, came 11 months after releasing her last song “Maghribna,” which celebrated Morocco’s historic Green March.

In a post announcing the song’s official release, she wrote:

“My new song ‘Foutouna’ has finally reached you after much effort and many challenges.”

“What matters most is that it’s now in your hands. This piece of work is no longer mine alone – it’s yours, and only you can turn it into a miracle greater than any promotion.”

The news delighted her fans, who quickly filled the comments section with words of love and admiration. One fan wrote: “I love the lyrics and the beauty of your voice. You’re always shining, dear artist, as always.”

Saad remains one of Morocco’s most cherished singers, consistently remembered and celebrated by her audience even after long absences. Her latest release reflects the ongoing support and encouragement from her fans.

Keeping her unique style and captivating voice, “Foutouna” follows a string of successful hits throughout her career, including “Bghitou Wala Krehto,” “Tayr El Hob,” and “Ma Tfakarnish.”

Houda Saad first gained public attention in 1998 through the music show “Nojoum Alghad” (“Tomorrow’s Stars”) aired on Moroccan channel 2M, where she finished in third place. She later participated in the Arab version of X-Factor, leaving the competition early before joining Rotana and continuing her musical journey.
