MarrakechThis evening, Villa des Arts of Casablanca is set to welcome artists and cultural leaders for the official opening of the 2nd National Salon of Emerging Contemporary Artists and the much-anticipated ceremony of “Al Mada Emergence Prize.”

Organized by Al Mada Foundation in partnership with Beaux-Arts Solidarité Maroc, the event celebrates the vitality of young contemporary creation in Morocco.

This year’s edition brings together 40 emerging Moroccan artists, along with five guest artists from West Africa, showcasing a dynamic mix of painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, video, and art installation.

Al Mada Emergence Prize, awarded tonight, highlights innovative artistic talent and aims to accelerate the visibility and professional growth of young creators.

By supporting new voices, the initiative strengthens Casablanca’s ambition to become a major cultural hub for contemporary art in Africa.

The exhibition runs from November 4 to December 24, offering the public a rich selection of works that reflect the diversity and evolution of Morocco’s artistic scene.
