ICESCO to Host Charity Fashion Evening in Rabat in Support of Vision-Correction Surgeries

Marrakech – Rabat is preparing to host a remarkable evening where fashion meets philanthropy, as ICESCO announces a special event titled “Anamil Al Nour – Caftan Al Khair”, scheduled for November 22 at 6:00 p.m. at the organization’s headquarters.

Organized by the Association of Arab Ambassadors’ Spouses and Heads of International Organizations, in partnership with Morocco’s Ministry of Solidarity and Social Inclusion and Al Ayadi Al Bayda Association, the event aims to raise funds for vision-correction surgeries for vulnerable individuals. 

At the heart of the evening is a high-end fashion show celebrating the artistry of the Moroccan caftan and traditional attire from several Arab countries. 

Renowned Moroccan and Arab designers will showcase creations that highlight the caftan’s enduring role as a symbol of national heritage and craftsmanship. 

Far beyond a traditional garment, the caftan stands as a cultural narrative, reflecting the history, identity, and refined aesthetic of Moroccan women.

The event’s message goes beyond fashion. By dedicating its proceeds to eye-surgery initiatives, the evening places elegance in direct service of humanitarian action.

The Kingdom of Jordan will attend as Guest of Honor, alongside diplomats, artists, designers, and models from across the Arab world, giving the evening a distinctly regional character. 

The initiative highlights the depth of Arab cultural ties and underscores a shared commitment to support humanitarian causes through creative expression.
