Marrakech – On November 19, Orange Maroc inaugurated its next-generation data center, Orange Tech, in the presence of Jalal Benhayoun, Governor of Nouaceur Province, along with senior representatives from both public and private sectors and key strategic partners.

The launch emphasizes Orange Maroc’s ongoing commitment to Morocco’s digital sovereignty and its position as a trusted partner for businesses and government entities.

Built on a 15,000 m² site with an initial capacity of 1.5 MW, Orange Tech reflects Orange Maroc’s strategic vision for innovation and critical infrastructure.

Designed to meet the growing demand for cloud hosting and services, Orange Tech stands out for its robust architecture, certification by the UPTIME Institute, and environmental focus.

Over 1,000 solar panels (700 kWc) have been installed, enabling significant self-consumption and contributing to CO2 emission reductions.

Orange Tech is central to Orange Maroc’s multicloud strategy, which already includes private, hybrid, and public cloud solutions through strategic partnerships with global leaders such as AWS and Microsoft.
