Fez — Miss France and Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere and Antoine Dupont, captain of the XV de France, are both in Marrakech, where they have documented their stay through photos.

While neither has posted together, their timelines show overlapping stops and similar backdrops, inviting attention from French and Moroccan followers alike.

On her account, Mittenaere highlighted a classic cultural circuit. She shared images from the Jardin Majorelle and the Musée Yves Saint Laurent, then moved into the souk and the narrow lanes of the medina.

A round of tennis and a series of food shots added a personal touch, including a chicken and olive tagine plated with fries. She captioned the carousel with a playful nod to her northern roots, calling it a “Moroccan dump with a northern twist.”

Dupont, recovering from an injury since March and marking a new milestone, posted that he was celebrating “the start of my 29th year under the sun.” His feed set the scene with a tennis court facing the Atlas Mountains, hinting at the same locale that appeared in Mittenaere’s posts.

He also shared a visit to Dar El Sadaka, the immersive art property by Jean-François Fourtou known for its “upside-down house” and “giant house,” where he posed among the surreal installations.

Food remained a throughline. Dupont photographed a couscous royal, then captured his  November 15 birthday with a viewing of France–Fiji and a table that paired a flute of champagne with seffa and a tagine of kefta with eggs.

The mix of comfort dishes and celebratory touches echoed the relaxed tone that ran through both celebrities’ updates.

Their stay aligns with Marrakech’s ongoing pull for international figures who value the city’s blend of heritage, hospitality, and proximity to nature. The YSL complex continues to draw design and fashion enthusiasts.

The medina offers the everyday pulse of craft and trade. Resorts and sports facilities on the city’s edge make it easy to pair cultural walks with training sessions and mountain views.

Neither Mittenaere nor Dupont addressed their relationship status in their posts. The spotlight instead stayed on the city: color palettes at Majorelle, the textures of the souk, art-house whimsy at Dar El Sadaka, and the comfort of signature Moroccan plates. For Marrakech, the coverage adds to a steady stream of social content that keeps the destination top of mind for French travelers heading into winter.

As their trip wraps, their feeds read less like a coordinated announcement and more like a shared appreciation for the Red City. From blue hues and palm shadows to court lines under the Atlas skyline, their Marrakech moments underline why the city remains a favorite for culture, food, sport, and sun.
