Fez – Art’s Factory announced the second edition of its training and mentorship program for young creatives, confirming the end of this week as the application deadline.

The initiative spans just over three months and blends instruction, hands-on practice, and delivery of real projects to strengthen skills and ease entry into the job market.

The curriculum targets disciplines that drive today’s creative economy. Participants train in storytelling, digital content creation, 2D animation, and practical uses of artificial intelligence for artistic production.

Workshops are paired with professional-style exercises, giving candidates space to test tools, receive feedback, and iterate under realistic constraints.

Skills to jobs

The program’s design centers on employability. Selected applicants, ages 16 to 30, follow a structured pathway that couples technical training with soft-skill development and portfolio building.

Simulated briefs, teamwork, and deadline management mirror studio environments so graduates can pursue internships, freelance work, or immediate hiring with a market-ready reel.

The edition also offers concrete incentives for top performers. Laureates earn spots at major international events, including the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. They benefit from professional support to produce a first short film, with additional prizes and opportunities that will be unveiled during the December 9 launch conference.

Organizers highlight outcomes from the inaugural cohort. According to Art’s Factory, 47 alumni entered the job market and three graduate-led startups were created after completing the first edition. Those results inform the new cohort’s focus on professional exposure, measurable milestones, and pathways into production pipelines.

Training on applied AI runs through the program. Sessions address responsible use of generative tools for ideation, previsualization, and post-production while safeguarding authorship and original voice. In 2D animation, modules cover character design, motion principles, asset pipelines, and short assignments that build into a cohesive portfolio.

A studio-style pathway

The initiative aligns with the rapid growth of Morocco’s creative industries across film, music, design, gaming, and digital media.

By connecting raw talent to industry practice, Art’s Factory positions its three pillars — learn, practice, deliver — as a bridge from concept to release. Coaches track individual progress, target portfolio gaps, and guide participants through iterative production cycles.

Applications are now open and will be accepted through the end of the week. Shortlisted candidates receive onboarding details ahead of the first workshops.

With a compact timeline, clear deliverables, and exposure to international platforms, the program offers emerging creatives a practical runway to transform ambition into sustainable careers in Morocco’s evolving creative sector.
