Fez — Casablanca Events & Animation has announced Winter Africa by WeCasablanca, a month-long cultural and sports-oriented program set to take over Casablanca’s Parc de la Ligue Arabe from December 18, 2025 to January 17, 2026.
Organizers describe the event as an inclusive, citywide gathering built around concerts, entertainment for families, and celebrations of Morocco’s cultural diversity and African ties. Casablanca Events & Animation says it has worked since 2015 to promote the city through economic, cultural, and sports programming.
A month-long program mixing culture, sport, and family activities
According to multiple reports citing the organizers’ announcement, the park will host a rotating set of activities, including live performances, themed spaces for children, and a “Game Zone” dedicated to gaming and e-sports competitions.
The site setup is expected to include a Kids Zone, Game Zone, Food Court, partner areas, and a VIP zone, aiming to make the experience accessible to different audiences over the month-long run.
WeCasablanca Festival runs December 18–27 with a Morocco-Africa lineup
Music is positioned as a central pillar of the program through the WeCasablanca Festival, scheduled from December 18 to 27. Organizers say the music segment will feature live concerts, DJ sets, and open stages designed to spotlight emerging talent alongside established performers.
The announced lineup includes Rachida Talal, Abdelali Sahraoui, Ouenza, Stormy, Salma Rachid, Taha Nouri, Duke, Soukaina Fahsi, Walid Rahmani, and Hajib.
January 14 set for Festival Amazigh marking Yennayer 2976
On January 14, 2026, the program is set to host the Festival Amazigh, presented as a highlight dedicated to Amazigh New Year, Yennayer 2976. Reports say the day will include music, crafts, gastronomy, and other living heritage elements as part of the broader “Winter Africa by WeCasablanca” schedule.
Organizers say the goal is a ‘popular celebration’ for the city
Mohamed Jouahri, Director General of Casablanca Events & Animation, described the concept as a broad public celebration bringing the city together around culture, sport, and creativity. “Winter Africa by WeCasablanca is conceived as a great popular celebration, a moment when Casablanca gathers around culture, sport, and creativity,” he said in a statement quoted by Moroccan media.
