Marrakech – Hollywood star Angelina Jolie visited the Rafah crossing on the Egyptian side on Friday, according to AFP journalists on the scene.

The visit aims to show her support for the people of Gaza, a Palestinian territory devastated by two years of geno_cide.

The former UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) special envoy, accompanied by an American delegation, met with members of the Red Crescent and humanitarian truck drivers.

Local media reports indicate that Jolie’s visit focused on assessing the conditions of injured Palestinians coming from the Gaza Strip and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the besieged enclave.

Angelina Jolie has long been involved in humanitarian work, particularly in conflict zones.

Over the years, she has used her platform to advocate for refugees and displaced populations, visiting areas affected by war, supporting aid organizations, and speaking out for international assistance.
