Marrakech – MBC5 revealed its highly anticipated Ramadan programming during a special evening held on January 7, bringing together a wide array of artists, media professionals, audiovisual producers, advertisers, and prominent figures from the channel.

Several well-known personalities attended the event, including Saudi actor Hassan Assiri, Moroccan actresses Hiba Bennani, Nada Hdaoui, Karima Gouit, and Salma Salah Eddine, as well as actors Assaad Bouab, Abdellah Didane, Rachid Rafiq, Rabii Skalli, and Aziz Hattab.

National U20 football coach Mohamed Ouahbi was also present, alongside numerous producers and industry stakeholders.

MBC5 outlined the key pillars of its editorial vision for 2026 under the slogan “A New Story.” 

The strategy emphasizes a modern and distinctive Moroccan identity, a strong multi-platform approach, and a clear ambition to deliver impactful, diverse content throughout the year while strengthening its connection with audiences.

Under the Ramadan slogans “Bringing Us Together” and “A Pleasure to Share,” the channel unveiled the main features of its Ramadan lineup. 

The schedule will include new drama productions as well as sequels to successful series, notably the second season of “Rahma,” the drama “Ana Horra,” and the first season of the sitcom “Imarat Assaâda,” with additional programs to be announced at a later stage.

MBC5 also emphasizedthat its 2026 grid will feature a strong sports component, in line with the coverage of major international competitions, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup. 

Large-scale entertainment formats, such as “The Voice Kids,” will further enrich the offering, targeting a broad and diverse audience.

Actors Abdellah Didane and Karima Gouit spoke about their roles in the upcoming second season of “Rahma,” hinting at unexpected dramatic twists. Meanwhile, Hiba Bennani and Assaad Bouab discussed their participation in “Rass Al Jbel,” the Moroccan adaptation of the hit series “Al Hayba,” scheduled to air during the upcoming Ramadan season.

Actress Nada Hdaoui also expressed her enthusiasm about attending the event, describing it as a valuable opportunity to discover the new productions set to define MBC5’s Ramadan programming.
