Marrakech – In a historic moment for the hip-hop scene in North Africa, Moroccan rapper Khtek has become the first woman to headline a multi-city rap tour across the region.

The tour, titled The X Tour, was launched in collaboration with the French Institute in Morocco and marks a significant milestone for female artists in a genre traditionally dominated by men.

The X Tour spans nine cities and nine dates, offering audiences a blend of live performances, cypher showcases, and community-centered hip-hop experiences. Each stop aims to bring together fans and artists in settings that celebrate both the diversity and the creativity of rap culture across North Africa.

The initiative also brings together creative minds and hip-hop enthusiasts through Khtek Fam, a collective that supports emerging voices and innovation within the genre, including L’Morphine and other rappers.

Khtek is a Moroccan rapper known for her sharp lyrical style and dynamic presence in the MENA hip-hop scene.

Her work often engages with themes of identity, empowerment, and urban culture, drawing both local and international attention. Over the years, she has built a reputation not only as a performer but as a voice for inclusivity in music.
