Fez — La Galerie 38 is marking its 15th anniversary with “Le Manifeste des Possibles – 15 ans de regard par La Galerie 38” (“The Manifesto of Possibilities – 15 Years of Vision by La Galerie 38,”) a large-scale collective exhibition presented in Marrakech from February 5 to March 7.
Following a first chapter shown in Casablanca in December 2025, Volume 3 of the exhibition is unveiled in a dedicated space at Ambiances d’Ailleurs, adjacent to the gallery’s Marrakech location in Gueliz.
Fifteen years of artistic commitment
Founded in Casablanca in 2010 by Fihr Kettani and Mohammed Chaoui El Faiz, La Galerie 38 has established itself as a key platform for contemporary African and international art.
Rather than looking back, “The Manifesto of Possibilities” positions the gallery firmly toward the future, reaffirming art as a space for experimentation, dialogue, and transformation.
The exhibition reflects the gallery’s long-standing commitment to an art scene fully integrated into global creative networks, while continuing to support artists who challenge formal, conceptual, and geographic boundaries.
A wide-ranging collective
Volume 3 brings together works by more than twenty artists, including Ghizlane Agzenaï, Meriam Benkirane, Soly Cissé, Philippe Dodard, Kendell Geers, Abdoulaye Konaté, Barthélémy Toguo, and Dominique Zinkpè, among others.
Across painting, sculpture, installation, and mixed media, the exhibition highlights the plurality of voices and practices that have shaped La Galerie 38’s identity over the past 15 years.
A gallery in expansion
The anniversary also coincides with La Galerie 38’s continued international growth. After Casablanca and Marrakech, the gallery is set to open a new space in Geneva in 2025, led by associate partner Julie Fazio. The expansion reflects a broader ambition to create an ecosystem in which art circulates freely across continents and audiences.
Presented as part of the 1-54 Marrakech Gallery Night, “The Manifesto of Possibilities” positions La Galerie 38 not only as a witness to contemporary creation, but as an active agent in shaping its future.
