Rabat – For Ramadan 2026, Moroccan public broadcaster Al Aoula is presenting a programming schedule dominated by Moroccan fiction, with a strong focus on social series, family sitcoms for Iftar, and prime-time dramas rooted in real-life experiences.

The channel is combining societal dramas, family comedies, and entertainment formats to engage audiences during both ftour and evening hours, while also refreshing its editorial offerings.

Staying true to its Ramadan tradition, Al Aoula is strengthening its lineup of sitcoms and family comedies designed to accompany Iftar, offering light-hearted shows that bring together multiple generations.

Among the highlights, “Al Mardi” (airing at 7:15 p.m.) delivers a humorous chronicle of daily life in a small popular community, featuring amusing situations and a relatable tone. The series uses everyday humor to create a unifying Iftar appointment.

Meanwhile, “Attaman” (airing at 6:35 p.m.) explores the world of real estate through internal competition, rivalries, strategies, and misunderstandings, blending workplace satire with social comedy.

Airing daily at 7:30 p.m., “Ôch Tmaa”, directed by Ayoub Lahnoud, delves into the illicit trafficking of newborns in marginalized neighborhoods, portraying a secret female network and shedding light on the consequences of poverty and social exclusion.

At 8 p.m.:“Caftan Khadija”30, “Chkoune Kane Igoul” by Safaa Baraka examines domestic violence and family secrets through a layered narrative built around an investigation and multiple hidden truths.

In late-night programming, Al Aoula presents series focusing on personal journeys and self-empowerment.

On Mondays at 10:30 p.m., “Seddik” follows a young man on the autism spectrum whose talent for sewing becomes a path to self-expression in the demanding fashion world.

Wednesdays at 10:30 p.m.,  traces the story of a young woman forced to pursue a career in traditional Moroccan caftan-making after her family’s financial collapse, highlighting the country’s sartorial heritage.

Friday prime-time slots are reserved for telefilms spanning multiple genres. Featured titles include “Hnya Mbarek o Matouss”, a social comedy; “Chaala”, a psychological drama centered on tensions among friends; and “Le Scorpion”, a thriller set in the world of drug trafficking.

Other offerings include “Mode Avion”, a family comedy about screen addiction, and “Al Hob Al Mor”, a psychological drama exploring toxic marital relationships.

On the entertainment front, “Mattihch Ala Lbal” returns for a second season (Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m.), with immersive experiences in different professions and human stories led by Meryem Zaimi and her guests.

Thursdays feature “Maa Lfamila 2”, a convivial talk-show hosted by Morad El Achabi, while Saturdays see “Jmaatna Zina” start its fifth season, dedicated to music, heritage, and spirituality in a family-friendly setting.
