Fez — CasablancaRun is set to return this weekend for its fifth edition, bringing two days of accessible sporting activities to the city’s seafront.

Scheduled for Saturday, February 14, and Sunday, February 15, the event will unfold along the promenade of the Hassan II Mosque, opposite Boulevard Zerktouni in Casablanca.

Organized by TheCityRun association, CasablancaRun is free and open to participants of all ages and fitness levels. The initiative aims to promote physical activity, encourage healthier lifestyles, and highlight public spaces through a unifying community event.

A weekend of accessible sport

The program includes running, walking, and group fitness sessions, with no performance requirements. Activities will take place between the Phare d’El Hank and the Casablanca Marina, in what organizers describe as a secure and sport-friendly setting.

The detailed schedule will be shared via the event’s social media accounts and official website.

A timed race introduced in 2026

This year’s edition marks a significant evolution with the introduction of a timed race scheduled for Sunday. Participants will be able to choose between three distances: 5 km, 10 km, or 15 km. A single race bib will allow runners to select their preferred route.

While participation in CasablancaRun remains free, registration is mandatory through the official website. Each registered participant will receive an electronic certificate of participation. Optional items — including the official T-shirt, cap, commemorative medal, and race bib for the timed event — will be available at a symbolic price.

By combining accessibility with structured competition, the 2026 edition of CasablancaRun continues to position itself as both a community gathering and a growing fixture on the city’s sporting calendar, reinforcing Casablanca’s push toward active urban living.
