Rabat – For Ramadan 2026, Dolce & Gabbana has chosen the Moroccan caftan in its new collection, staged through the lens of photographer Nima Benati.

The campaign unfolds against sun-washed walls and majestic arches, a set up that feels both intimate and chic.

At the center of the wardrobe stands the Moroccan caftan, elevated through precise tailoring and luxurious fabrication, anchoring the entire Ramadan edit.

By positioning caftan as a key piece, D&G continues to strengthen its dialogue with regional markets, integrating an emblem of North African heritage into its global luxury narrative.

The garment, historically associated with ceremony and craftsmanship, is reinterpreted through the House’s signature codes, controlled opulence, fluid lines, and timeless femininity.

The caftan appears alongside tunics, capes, pyjama sets, blouses, and long skirts, yet it commands attention through proportion and movement.

Crafted in silk satin, chiffon, cady, Moroccan crepe and silk crepe, the pieces are designed to flow effortlessly, allowing the fabric to define the silhouette.

The construction remains clean and essential, reinforcing the brand’s refined approach to modest dressing.

Color further enhances the garment’s presence. Powder pink, sky blue, and sandy neutrals soften the structure, while emerald green, ruby red, and sapphire blue introduce depth and evening drama.

The result is a caftan that transitions seamlessly from intimate iftar gatherings to formal Ramadan soirees.

Floral prints, such as roses and peonies, long associated with D&G’s visual identity, add romantic dimension without overpowering the silhouette.

Here, the embellishment is measured, allowing the cut and textile to lead.

The narrative extends into accessories. The Haute Joaillerie “Eleganza” collection complements the ready-to-wear with sophisticated designs and luminous color harmonies, while the iconic Sicily bags, adorned with crystals and gold finishes, punctuate the looks with signature brilliance.

Yet even among jewels and embellished handbags, the caftan remains the axis around which the collection revolves.

Luxury houses have increasingly embraced Ramadan capsules in recent years. With this 2026 edition, D&G sharpens its strategy by centering a culturally significant garment rather than simply adapting existing silhouettes.
