CasablancaCollectif 4.0 will host on Saturday, February 28 a new family-centered cultural event titled “Rhythms of Morocco” Villa des Arts in Casablanca, the group announced today in a press statement.

The event is part of the ongoing “Morocco, Land of Cultures” series, developed in partnership with Fondation Al Mada. Organizers say the initiative aims to provide accessible, participatory cultural experiences designed for families and young audiences.

The upcoming edition follows the success of the first event in the series, “Berber Stories,” which brought together families for what organizers described as an immersive and interactive cultural gathering.

Music as living heritage

According to Collectif 4.0’s press release, “Rhythms of Morocco” will focus on Moroccan music as a vehicle of connection, emotion, and collective memory. The program invites families to discover traditional Moroccan sounds, rhythms, and instruments through a playful and educational approach, it added.

The event will run from 1:30pm to 3:30pm and is structured as a cultural journey combining hands-on practice, observation, and imagination.

Program highlights include family DIY workshops where participants can create their own musical instruments, an exhibition of Moroccan instruments for listening and exploration, a puppet show, and parent-child discovery activities.

The entry fee is set at 50 MAD per family, with organizers stressing that the event’s goal is to encourage knowledge transmission through direct experimentation and shared family participation.

Strengthening family cultural access

In the press statement, Collectif 4.0 and Fondation Al Mada reaffirmed their commitment to offering inclusive and intergenerational cultural formats that promote artistic discovery from an early age.

Collectif 4.0 describes itself as a collective of experienced freelancers working on creative, cultural, and event-driven projects. The group focuses on initiatives that blend contemporary creation, civic engagement, and educational outreach, with particular attention to children and families.
