Fez — The “Nostalgia Lovers Festival” is set to return to Casablanca from June 18 to 20 with organizers announcing a high-profile lineup led by disco icon Gloria Gaynor and American R&B group Blackstreet.
The three-day event will once again take place at the Vélodrome de Casablanca, marking the festival’s third edition after two previous runs that drew strong attendance and wide-ranging programming.
Organizers said the upcoming edition aims to build on that momentum by bringing major international names to the Moroccan stage.
Gaynor, widely recognized as the “Queen of Disco,” is best known for hits such as “I Will Survive,” which became an enduring anthem across generations. Blackstreet, known for 1990s R&B classics including “No Diggity,” is expected to deliver a set that resonates with fans of the golden era of hip-hop and soul-infused pop.
A celebration of the 80s, 90s, and 2000s
Positioned as a gathering point for fans of the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s, the Nostalgia Lovers Festival brands itself as more than a music event. According to organizers, it is designed as a “generational experience,” blending live performances with a shared cultural memory rooted in the sounds that defined multiple decades.
Additional artists are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, with the full lineup yet to be revealed. The festival has already opened sales for its limited “Blind Pass” three-day ticket, offering early access at a preferential rate ahead of a scheduled price increase.
The 2026 edition signals its ambition to solidify Casablanca’s position as a regional destination for large-scale music events.
As Morocco’s summer festival calendar continues to expand, the Nostalgia Lovers Festival appears determined to carve out its identity through a curated return to the hits and rhythms that shaped global pop culture.
