Rabat – On February 20, YouTube officially announced that BLACKPINK has reached 100 million subscribers, making them the first official artist channel in history to make this achievement.

In recognition, YouTube awarded the group a custom Red Diamond Creator Award, which is reserved only for channels that surpass this exceptional subscriber count.

BLACKPINK celebrated the milestone on social media, captioning their post, “BLACKPINK HITS 100 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS ON YOUTUBE,” while YouTube’s official account commented, “We’re so proud to see you make history!”

Since their debut in 2016, BLACKPINK’s channel has steadily grown, featuring hundreds of videos, from music videos and dance practices to behind-the-scenes content. Many of their uploads have become global hits, with dozens surpassing 100 million views.

According to data shared by YouTube, the group accumulated approximately 3.3 billion views over the past 12 months alone.

Google even added a celebratory feature for the win, showing ‘100M’ confetti when users type in ‘BLACKPINK’ in the search engine.

Their audience spans multiple regions, with particularly strong viewership coming from South Korea (+277 million views), India (+223 million), Indonesia (+218 million), Mexico (+182 million), the United States (+180 million), and Brazil (+168 million).

This landmark achievement comes just ahead of their highly anticipated third mini-album, “Deadline,” set to release on February 27, marking their first full group comeback in three years.

With this achievement, BLACKPINK further reinforces their presence across digital platforms while raising the bar for worldwide music engagement.
