Rabat – On April 7, Shakira will mark her fifth stop on the “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” world tour at the Pyramids of Giza (Al Haram), nearly 20 years after her last performance at the iconic venue in 2007.

Ahead of the concert, the Colombian superstar shared a short video message in Arabic with her fans.

“Hello, this is Shakira,” she said. “I’m very happy to be performing in Egypt, at the Pyramids of Giza. I love you all. Kisses.”

The Colombian star will also perform during race weekend on April 19 at the Formula One Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, alongside other artists including Kygo and Pitbull.

She has also been announced as the headline act for the Offlimits Music Festival in Abu Dhabi for its second edition. 

On April 4 she will perform at Etihad Park on Yas Island, topping the bill at the full-day multi-stage.

Shakira is visiting the UAE for the 4th time on her return to Abu Dhabi. She has previously performed before at Dubai Autodrome in 2007, Emirates Palace in 2008, and Etihad Park in 2011.

Shakira is one of the world’s biggest music stars. She has sold over 95 million records, won four Grammy Awards and 15 Latin Grammy Awards.
