Fez — Morocco’s Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication has unveiled a national artistic program to mark World Theater Day, celebrated each year on March 27.
According to the ministry, the program includes a series of theatrical activities organized in coordination with regional and provincial cultural directorates across the country. A total of 102 theater performances are scheduled across 40 cities in cultural centers, theaters, and performance spaces throughout Morocco.
The initiative aims to support national theatrical creation and expand access to theater for wider audiences.

Theater across Morocco
Beyond the official celebrations, the nationwide program will bring theater productions to cultural venues in multiple Moroccan cities as part of broader efforts to promote theatrical creation and cultural participation.
World Theater Day, established by the International Theater Institute in 1961, is observed annually to highlight the role of theater in cultural dialogue and artistic expression.
