Rabat – One of the most anticipated video games of the decade, Grand Theft Auto VI, is officially scheduled to launch on November 19.

The release date was confirmed by Rockstar Games after the title was delayed from an earlier 2026 window, with the studio stating it needed additional time to polish the game and meet fans’ expectations.

The date coincidentally falls on International Men’s Day, a global observance held every year on November 19 to highlight positive male role models and address issues affecting men and boys.

The day has been recognized internationally since the late 1990s and is celebrated in dozens of countries.

Set in the fictional U.S. state of Leonida, loosely inspired by Florida, the game will feature a vast open world including the iconic Vice City.

The story follows two protagonists, Jason and Lucia, marking the first time the franchise includes a female lead character in a mainline title.

The game will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S and is expected to become one of the biggest entertainment launches in years.

Despite the delay, analysts believe the November release could benefit from the lucrative holiday season, potentially boosting sales and marketing opportunities for the publisher.
