Rabat – On May 3, Moroccan actor and comedian Mohamed Khiari will perform his one-man show “Tueur à Gag” at Megarama Casablanca.
The comedian shared the announcement on Instagram with the poster of the upcoming show. In the caption, he described it as a return to the stage and a nostalgic moment linked to live comedy.
The comment section also showed encouragement and admiration to the artist. Moroccan artist Yassar Lemghari said in a comment, “a blessed return, my friend,” welcoming his comeback.
Other users also expressed admiration for the comedian. “Greetings and appreciation to the great artist Mohamed Khiari, always shining,” one comment read, highlighting his long career and continued presence on stage.
“Tueur à Gag” promises an evening built on the style that shaped his reputation. The show is expected to feature punchlines drawn from everyday life, moments of absurd humor, and observations about situations many Moroccans can relate to.
The event will mark his return to the stage alone after a long time mainly spent on television and ensemble comedy shows.
This will not be the comedian’s first performance during Ramadan this year. On February 27, he appeared at Mohammed V National Theatre alongside the comedy group Les Inqualifiables during the “1 Awal Mara” show.
The performance took place as part of the “Aji Thdm” Festival, gathering several comedians and attracting audiences looking for live entertainment during the holy month.
“Tueur à Gag,” however, marks something different. The Casablanca show will see Khiari alone on stage again, returning to the format of the one-man performance that defined many earlier moments of his career.

Beyond theatre performances, Khiari has built a long career in Moroccan television and cinema.
He appeared in several productions that became widely known among local audiences, including “The Bandits,” “Sir Hta Tji,” “Taxi Byad,” “Koulna Mgharba,” and “El Dam El Mashrook.”
These productions helped establish him as one of the recognizable figures of Moroccan comedy.
Over the years, he became a familiar face in Moroccan homes through sitcoms and comedy programs, especially during the month of Ramadan.
The upcoming show also arrives at a time when stand-up and live comedy are gaining momentum in Morocco.
Several performances and comedy events have been organized across different cities during this Ramadan, reflecting a growing interest in live humor and stage performances.
