Rabat – South Korean K-pop star Suga, whose real name is Min Yoongi, recently caught the attention of fans worldwide after sending a warm message to his followers in celebration of the holy month of Ramadan.

The rapper and producer, best known as a member of the global K-pop group BTS, appeared in a live broadcast on the fan platform Weverse while celebrating his 33rd birthday.

During the livestream, he interacted with fans from around the world and read several comments from viewers.

At one point, Suga noticed messages from fans who said they were watching the livestream while fasting for Ramadan.

Curious, he paused to ask about the practice, wondering how fasting works and when people usually break their fast.

The K-pop star told viewers that, based on what he understood, those observing Ramadan are allowed to eat after sunset, asking fans if his understanding was correct.

He then joked that he also tends to have his first meal after sunset because of his intense training schedule.

His comments quickly resonated with fans online. Many expressed appreciation for the moment, applauding him for acknowledging Ramadan during the broadcast and showing interest in the traditions of his international audience.

Clips from the livestream were widely shared across social media by fans, with many saying the gesture reflected Suga’s awareness of the diverse global fanbase that supports BTS, particularly in regions such as the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.

The interaction comes as fans eagerly await the group’s anticipated comeback, with speculation surrounding a new album reportedly titled “Arirang” expected to be released in the near future.

If confirmed, the highly anticipated release would mark one of the group’s most significant returns in recent years.
