Rabat – Moroccan singer Ahmed Chawki has released a new song in English titled “My Way,” celebrating the holy month of Ramadan.

Written and composed by Imad Gueri, the track carries a spiritual message, reflecting the themes of God’s mercy, gratitude, and the singular sense of inner peace and serenity associated with Ramadan.

Chawki announced the release on his Instagram. “My way… work from the heart of the heart… I hope it finds its way to your hearts… I love you…” he said, expressing the profound emotional meaning this song holds for him.

Fans showed strong support immediately after the release. One Instagram commenter praised the song’s heartfelt message: “Light on the heart, beautiful, and its message is even more beautiful. Bravo!”

Another fan took to YouTube to write in admiration of the song’s spiritual depth and emotional impact.

“Many blessings and thanks to everyone who gave their time, talent, energy, and soul to make this beautiful project possible,” the fan beamed. “Grateful for Ahmed Chawki’s voice and for every hand and spirit that contributed to this spiritual journey. May God let the love and sincere intention behind this work reach many and inspire them.”

Yet some listeners have criticized the song. “If the song had been in Arabic, it would have been better,” one commented. “Unfortunately, the pronunciation and singing in English on this melody didn’t work.”

“My Way” joins Chawki’s growing repertoire of acclaimed songs. He is well known for hits such as “Tsunami,” “Habibi I Love You,” “Kayna Wla Makaynach,” and “The Time of Our Lives.”

The new song is available on YouTube and other streaming platforms including Anghami, Spotify and Deezer.
