Rabat – Pop girl group, The Pussycat Dolls, have officially announced their long awaited reunion, returning as a trio with new single “Club Song,” and an “PCD Forever” international tour set to begin this summer.

While the original line-up featured six members, Jessica Sutta, Carmit Bachar and Melody Thornton are not part of the current reunion. The trio is now composed of Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, and Kimberly Wyatt.

Wyatt told BBC News that the group has always embraced change.

“The Pussycat Dolls have always been known for an ever changing line-up,” she said, adding that the current trio reflects where the group stands in 2026.

The tour, which includes 53 dates, will kick off in North America before heading to Europe in September.

Fans in the UK and Ireland can expect shows in cities including Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Dublin, Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester, before the tour concludes with a major performance at The London’s O2 Arena on October 13.

For Wyatt, returning to the stage with the group after two decades feels particularly meaningful.

The Pussycat Dolls first shot to global fame in 2005 with their debut album “PCD,” delivering a string of chart-topping hits including “Don’t Cha,” “Buttons” and “I Don’t Need A Man”.

According to Scherzinger, the reunion came together naturally after years of pursuing individual projects.

The singer recently earned critical acclaim for her stage performance as Norma Desmond in the musical adaptation of Sunset Boulevard in London’s West End and on Broadway, a role that brought her major theatre awards.

Despite the success of her theatre career, Scherzinger said she was ready to return to the group that first launched her global fame.

“It was a dream come true to do the stage,” she reflected, “but as an artist you want to do it all and I really missed the girls.”

However, Roberts revealed that Scherzinger was the first person to approach her about a potential reunion.

After communicating with each other, they realized that they had a mutual excitement about getting back out on stage and celebrating who they have become as women.

The reunion also comes after a previous comeback attempt in 2019 was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic and a legal dispute between Scherzinger and the group’s founder Robin Antin over creative control of the brand.

The pair reached a confidential settlement last year, clearing the way for the group’s return.

Alongside the new single and tour announcement, both of the band’s albums PCD and Doll Domination will be reissued with previously unreleased tracks, giving fans a chance to rediscover the music that defined a generation of pop.

Founded by Antin in 1995 as a burlesque dance troupe, The Pussycat Dolls later evolved into a mainstream pop group known for high-energy performances, glamorous styling and bold choreography.

Now, more than 20 years after their rise to fame, the trio says their message has grown with them.

While their signature confidence and performance style remain, the group hopes to bring a more mature and empowering perspective to their music.

Scherzinger believes their comeback arrives at a moment when women are embracing independence and self-confidence more than ever.

“It’s a beautiful time for women,” she said. “Women in their 30s and 40s are happy, confident and realizing they don’t need anyone else to feel complete.”

As they prepare to hit the road again, the trio hopes to reconnect with longtime fans while also introducing a new generation to the iconic energy that made The Pussycat Dolls a global pop phenomenon.

“We’re excited to get out there and show the world what The Pussycat Dolls are about,” Wyatt said. “It’s the power of three and we’re ready to give fans everything they’ve been waiting for.”
