Casablanca – Moroccan singer Nacim Haddad has launched a world tour starting in Morocco and extending to Europe and North America.
The Ayta artist will kick off the tour in Oujda on March 28, followed by Fez on April 11. He will then head to Europe, with performances in Brussels on April 26 and Lyon on May 15.
Following Europe, he will make his way to North America for the first time, starting with Quebec on May 31.
The Quebec date is the latest stop announced on his Instagram account, leaving fans expecting more North American cities to be added. In comments reacting to his latest Instagram post, Moroccans from around the world have been actively requesting concerts in their own cities.
Moroccans living in North America are especially excited, as this coming tour marks Haddad’s first performances in the region. Following the Quebec announcement, many expressed hope that the singer will expand the tour and include more destinations.
One fan even invited him to Florida, writing: “The best Moroccan singer @nacimhaddad You’re more than welcome here. Florida is calling you, we have a wonderful community here that loves your music. Please add a Florida date to the North America tour.”
Haddad’s journey into Ayta music is a story of passion and change. Initially trained as a doctor in nuclear physics, he chose to follow his artistic calling and dedicate himself to preserving and performing this traditional Moroccan genre.
Through this tour, the artist is set to take audiences on a journey through Moroccan heritage, bringing the sounds and spirit of Ayta to stages across continents.
