Rabat – The long-awaited next chapter of the “Dune saga is beginning to take shape, as Timothée Chalamet has unveiled the first trailer for “Dune: Part Three,” offering audiences a glimpse of what lies ahead in the epic science-fiction trilogy directed by Denis Villeneuve.

The actor shared the trailer on his social media, reigniting excitement among fans of the franchise and revealing a new look at Paul Atreides, now ruling as the “Padishah Emperor of the Known Universe.”

The footage hints at the dramatic consequences of Paul’s rise to power following the events of Dune: Part Two.

In the previous installment, Paul defeated Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, portrayed by Austin Butler, and ultimately seized the imperial throne.

Yet his victory also set the stage for growing conflict across the galaxy, as the beginnings of a holy war began to unfold.

Meanwhile, Chani, played by Zendaya, was left shocked by the transformation of the man she once loved.

The upcoming film is expected to draw inspiration from the novel “Dune Messiah” by Frank Herbert, which explores the darker side of Paul’s reign.

The story delves deeper into the moral and political consequences of his rule, portraying a leader increasingly shaped by religious prophecy, power, and complex political forces.

Several familiar faces will return to the franchise, including Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Léa Seydoux as Lady Margot, and Anya Taylor‑Joy as Alia Atreides.

The cast also features Rebecca Ferguson, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem reprising their roles.

New additions to the ensemble include Robert Pattinson, who is set to portray the mysterious antagonist Scytale, as well as Isaach de Bankolé, who joins the film as Farok, a former Fedaykin warrior.

The trailer and newly released promotional images have already sparked widespread anticipation online, as fans prepare for what is expected to be the epic conclusion of one of modern cinema’s most ambitious science-fiction trilogies.

“Dune: Part Three” is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 18.

As the saga moves toward its final chapter, the story will confront a central question: will Paul Atreides remain the savior many believe him to be, or become the very force that threatens the universe he once sought to protect?
