Lugano – Miley Cyrus returned to the spotlight to celebrate “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special,” marking a major milestone for the Disney Channel series that debuted in 2006 and shaped a generation of pop culture.

At the Los Angeles premiere, Cyrus appeared smiling on the red carpet, embracing the nostalgic moment while celebrating the show that launched her career.

The event brought together celebrities, fans, and former cast members, highlighting the enduring popularity of the franchise.

Several original cast members of Hannah Montana reunited for the 20th anniversary premiere, joining the singer to celebrate the show’s legacy.

Among those in attendance were Jason Earles, who played Cyrus’s witty and mischievous on-screen brother Jackson Stewart, as well as Cody Linley, who portrayed the charming and popular Jake Ryan, and  Moisés Arias, known for his quirky and energetic role as Rico Suave.

Their presence highlighted the reunion of key cast members, bringing together familiar faces from the series that helped define a generation of Disney Channel viewers.

Ahead of the premiere, Cyrus teased the special in an official trailer, offering fans a first look at the nostalgic return to iconic sets, music, and behind-the-scenes moments.

The anniversary special, now streaming on Disney+, revisits the show’s legacy through a mix of archival footage, recreated sets, and personal reflections from Cyrus.

Rather than a traditional reunion, the special takes a more introspective approach, featuring an in-depth interview with the celebrity as she reflects on her journey from teenage star to global artist and the lasting impact of her dual role as Miley Stewart and Hannah Montana.

Recreated elements of the original series, including iconic locations such as the Stewart home and Hannah’s wardrobe, allow viewers to revisit the show’s defining moments while introducing its story to a new generation.

Beyond television, “Hannah Montana” evolved into a global brand spanning music, film, and touring, helping redefine the crossover between television and pop stardom in the late 2000s.

The anniversary special highlights how the series continues to influence entertainment today, serving as both a celebration of its legacy and a reflection on its cultural significance.

With its release, Disney reinforces the enduring appeal of “Hannah Montana,” as Cyrus reconnects with the role that launched her career while embracing how far both she and the industry have evolved.
